SnapHire
The Photographer Guarantee
You're not our inventory. You're the whole point. Here's what that means, in writing.
Your time is protected like your own retainer policy. When a client cancels inside 48 hours of your session, you're paid 50% for the reserved time. Inside 24 hours, or a no-show, you're paid in full. Confirmed money on SnapHire is captured payment through Stripe, not a promise.
The five promises
- Your rates. You set them, you change them, nobody bids against you. Your platform rate is locked in writing the day you join, and it never rises for you, even when the standard rate does.
- Your copyright. Every photo you take is yours. We never take ownership of your work, your RAWs, or the right to train anything on it. Clients get the usage rights you sell them.
- No lead fees. Ever. You pay nothing to be seen, nothing for an inquiry, nothing until you're actually paid for a real shoot. Founding photographers, the ones who joined by September 30, 2026, pay 0% for their first three months, then their locked rate.
- Your time. The cancellation ladder above, plus one free weather reschedule for outdoor sessions, so you're never punished for a rained-out shoot.
- Your clients stay yours. No exclusivity clauses, no penalties for how you run your business, no non-compete fine print. We earn your bookings by being the easiest way to get them.
How payment works
- Clients pay through Stripe when a booking is confirmed. You're never chasing an invoice.
- Payouts go to your own connected Stripe account. Your money, your account, standard payout timing.
- Cancellation payments follow the ladder automatically. No awkward conversation required; the policy has your back so you don't have to.
What we ask in return
- Honor your confirmed bookings. When a photographer cancels, the client is refunded in full under the SnapHire Guarantee, and repeated cancellations or no-shows end a photographer's place on the marketplace.
- Keep your calendar honest, show up like the professional you are, and deliver what your profile promises. That's it.
