How it works
Everything a photographer would email you back and forth about is already on their profile. Here is the whole thing, start to finish.

Tap a category or search. The app shows photographers available near you, with the starting price on the card.

Their portfolio, their first-hour and extra-hour rates, their packages, and the days and times they have opened.

Pick the date, the time and the hours. Every dollar is listed, including the 5% service fee, before you tap Pay.
Then
The booking shows in your app with the date, time, place and total. Some photographers approve each request first; you hear back in the app.
Location, outfits, the shot list, parking. The chat sits on the booking so nothing is lost in texts.
Stripe holds the payment. The photographer is paid after the shoot. If they cancel, you get everything back, including the fee.
The money, plainly
The photographer sets the price. SnapHire adds a 5% service fee at checkout and shows it as its own line. That is the whole bill.
No listing fee, no subscription, no paying for leads. On big jobs it drops to 5% on anything above the first $2,000 of a booking.
Closer than that, the rules are on the Help page. If the photographer cancels, you get everything back.

Apple Pay or a card. The total on the sheet is the total.
Questions
At booking. Your payment is held by Stripe and the photographer is paid after the session, so nobody is chasing anybody for money on the day.
Running the app, support, and the payment protection. It is shown as its own line at checkout; the photographer's price is theirs.
Message the photographer in the app. Changes they agree to are free. Cancelling more than 48 hours out is a full refund.
Yes. Save them with the heart and book again from their profile.
The app tells you straight. Tap Request a shoot, say what you need, and we reach out when a photographer covers it.
