Events

Book an event photographer on Long Island or in NYC.

Birthdays, sweet 16s, graduations, company parties, product launches, a conference, a fundraiser. Event photographers on SnapHire are booked by the hour, so you pay for the party, not the whole day.

Pricing

How the price works.

A first-hour rate

Every photographer sets their own. It is on the card before you open the profile.

An extra-hour rate

Add hours at checkout and the total updates line by line.

Or a package

Some photographers build all-in packages with what is included written out. Pick one instead of hours.

Plus a 5% service fee, shown as its own line at checkout. That is the whole bill. Cancel more than 48 hours out for a full refund.

Questions

Events, answered.

How many hours should I book for a party?

Most parties are covered in three to four hours: arrivals, the main moments, and the dance floor. You choose the hours at checkout and can message the photographer first.

Can they shoot video too?

Some photographers list Video as a specialty. Filter by Video or check the profile.

What if my venue has rules?

Tell the photographer in the chat. They handle venue requirements like insurance certificates with you directly.
